We’re fun, feisty, friendly and fearless!
We’ve been singing together since February 2014, and in that time we have grown from a small group of six karaoke enthusiasts to a choir of almost thirty – and we’re still growing. We’re called the Bank Choir because we formed in the Bank Pub in Netherfield, which is where we still meet now. We sing mostly contemporary, pop and world music, but every now and again we like to surprise our audience by throwing in something completely unexpected…. We perform regularly around Nottinghamshire – our recent gigs have included the Arnold Carnival, Gedling Arts Festival, a guest spot in the Lace City Chorus 25thAnniversary Concert, The National Ice Centre, and the Gedling Civic Carol Service.
There are no auditions: anyone can join, regardless of ability or experience, and you don’t need to be able to read sheet music. You just have to be over 18 and love belting out a tune!
